Corporate HQ Reception Feature Wall is a 180 m² office fit-out in Dubai, UAE, completed in 2023, centred on a striking book-matched marble feature wall that anchors the arrival and reception experience. Al-Suhool Project combined its in-house marble workshop and fit-out team to deliver a calm, premium hospitality-grade environment, pairing symmetrical stone cladding with warm timber, recessed niche lighting and refined wellness-inspired detailing.
Scope of works
- Design development and fabrication of a full-height book-matched marble feature wall as the reception focal point
- Supply, dry-lay and installation of natural stone mosaic cladding with precision-matched veining and tight joint lines
- Joinery and timber works including warm wood accents, shelving niches and the cushioned bench unit
- Recessed niche detailing with integrated warm LED accent lighting and downlights
- Specialist flooring works combining timber decking and a polished pebble-stone inlay band
- Finishing trades: framed mirror installation, fixtures, sealing and final QA/QC handover

The challenge
The brief called for a single book-matched stone surface to carry the entire reception identity, which demands exact veining alignment and tight, near-invisible joints with zero tolerance for mismatch. Integrating recessed lighting, timber and mixed flooring around this hero wall within an occupied corporate HQ added coordination and sequencing complexity.
Our solution
Al-Suhool's in-house marble workshop slab-matched and pre-fabricated the wall, dry-laying every panel to verify veining before installation, while the fit-out team phased works and ran QA/QC checkpoints to protect finishes. Trades were sequenced so stone, joinery, lighting and flooring met with clean, coordinated junctions.
The outcome
The result is a calm, premium reception that delivers an immediate sense of arrival, with the 180 m² space handed over in 2023 as a single seamless book-matched statement wall free of visible joint mismatch.
