Retail Kiosks Programme
The Retail Kiosks Programme is a 300 m² retail fit-out delivered in Ajman, UAE and completed in 2022, covering a family of bespoke merchandising kiosks across a single commercial venue. Al-Suhool Project designed and built the kiosks around a signature suspended bronze chainmail-mesh ceiling feature, pairing warm metallic drapery with solid-surface counters, stone tops and integrated LED displays to give each unit a premium, repeatable identity.
Scope of works
- Retail fit-out of a 300 m² kiosk programme comprising multiple bespoke merchandising units within one commercial venue
- Design, fabrication and installation of the suspended bronze chainmail-mesh ceiling feature with curved scalloped edges
- Bespoke joinery for kiosk bodies, counters and display surfaces in solid surface with stone tops
- Integration of LED display screens and concealed cabling into the kiosk and ceiling assemblies
- Timber-slatted ceiling and wall linings, with exposed-concrete soffit coordination and black track-lighting installation
- MEP coordination, snagging and handover across a phased, replicable kiosk roll-out
Design & features
- Signature suspended chainmail-mesh ceiling sculpture in a warm bronze/champagne tone, with sweeping scalloped curved edges as a wayfinding landmark
- Warm timber-slatted ceiling and wall linings that soften the exposed-concrete structural shell
- Black surface-mounted track lighting threaded between the timber and concrete for flexible retail accenting
- Solid-surface kiosk bodies topped with natural stone for a hard-wearing, premium counter finish
- Integrated LED display zones built into the kiosks for dynamic branding and product messaging
The challenge
The brief called for a fleet of kiosks that read as one premium brand while remaining repeatable and quick to install, all sitting beneath an exposed-concrete shell with a complex large-span chainmail-mesh ceiling feature that had to hang true and align with the timber and lighting grids.
Our solution
Al-Suhool's in-house joinery and marble workshop pre-fabricated the solid-surface bodies and stone tops to a single tested template, then delivered the chainmail ceiling and LED integration in coordinated phases with full QA/QC and dimensional surveys before each install.
The outcome
The programme delivered a consistent, premium kiosk identity across the full 300 m² in 2022, with the suspended bronze mesh feature becoming a recognisable landmark and the templated build allowing fast, low-variance roll-out of each unit.
