Scope of works

• Full interior fit-out of a 540 m² banking branch, including customer waiting hall, teller line and back-of-house service areas
• Design and installation of a feature timber-clad recessed ceiling raft with concealed linear and recessed lighting
• Supply and fabrication of secure service joinery and stone-topped counters for teller and advisory positions
• Full-height glazed partition systems to separate public, semi-private and secure zones while maintaining sightlines
• Polished light-toned floor finishes, wall treatments and branded finishes throughout the customer journey
• Coordination of MEP, low-voltage, security and access-control provisions integrated discreetly into joinery and ceilings

Design & features

• A warm timber-clad recessed ceiling raft that anchors the hall and contrasts the cool, light-toned floors and walls
• Recessed and concealed linear lighting that delivers even, glare-free illumination across service positions
• Full-height glazed partitions that keep the branch open and transparent while zoning secure areas
• Crisp white stone-topped counters with an integrated tablet sign-in / queueing point at the customer touchpoint
• A restrained palette of timber, white stone, grey upholstery and glass that reads as calm, modern and premium

The challenge

A banking branch must feel open and welcoming to customers while still enforcing strict security, privacy and access control across teller, advisory and back-of-house zones. Delivering this within an occupied commercial setting also required precise sequencing to minimise disruption.

Our solution

Al-Suhool delivered the project with its in-house fit-out and joinery teams, fabricating secure counters and branded finishes under controlled workshop conditions, then phasing on-site installation around the branch programme. A rigorous QA/QC process ensured glazing, lighting and access-control integration met both brand standards and banking security requirements.

The outcome

The completed 540 m² branch opened in 2022 as a calm, premium and brand-consistent banking environment, with clearly zoned secure and public areas and a streamlined customer journey from a single-point digital sign-in.
