Mall Anchor Store Fit-Out

Scope of works

• Full retail fit-out of a 3,200 m² mall anchor unit, from bare-shell to handover
• Supply and installation of large-format light stone flooring throughout the sales area
• Construction of a multi-level recessed (cove-lit) feature ceiling with integrated linear and downlight lighting
• Bespoke walnut timber wall panelling, full-height storage and display joinery
• Glazed shopfront and full-height window systems with city-facing views
• MEP coordination, integrated AV/screen provisions, and final QA/QC snagging to mall standards

• Large-format light-toned stone flooring with minimal joints for a seamless retail floor
• Warm walnut timber joinery providing storage, display and wall-cladding in one system

The challenge

Fitting out a 3,200 m² anchor unit to a premium standard meant delivering large-format stone flooring and complex multi-level ceilings flush and joint-free across a single open volume, while working within the mall's fixed handover programme and access restrictions.

Our solution

Al-Suhool delivered the unit with its in-house fit-out and stone teams, pre-fabricating walnut joinery and templating stone in its own workshop, then phasing flooring, ceiling and shopfront works under a single QA/QC programme to meet the mall's handover date.

The outcome

The completed 3,200 m² anchor store was handed over in 2023 on a bright, premium specification, ready for tenant merchandising and trading with zero outstanding major snags at final inspection.
